As a connoisseur of radio ad skipping, I've mastered the art of crafting scripts that keep listeners tuned in, rather than reaching for the fast-forward button.
During my time at Swanson Russell, I spearheaded the creation of engaging radio spots for Runza, my favorite fast food place from my hometown in Nebraska. As someone who grew up laughing at Runza ads as a child, it was a dream come true to finally work on them. The creative process was a whirlwind of brainstorming sessions and concept development. I compiled lists of over 100 characters and concepts, presenting them to the creative director for consideration. Together, we collaborated to weave these elements into several captivating storylines, each more compelling than the last. The end result? The radio spots you see before you – a testament to creativity, collaboration, and a knack for keeping audiences hooked.
